Idemili is a local government to the North Western and South Side of Anambra State of Nigeria. It is made up of
19 towns with a combined population of over 1.2 million. It is the second most populous
local government in Anambra State. The nineteen towns that make up Idemili are:
Abacha, Abatete, Akwa-Ukwu, Alor, Awka-Etiti, Eziowelle, Ideani, Nkpor, Nnokwa,
Nnobi, Oba, Obosi, Ogidi, Ojoto, Oraukwu, Uke, Umudioka, Umunachi, and Umuoji.
